Cookies
The Internet pages use so-called cookies in several places. They serve to make our offer more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser. Most of the cookies we use are so-called "session cookies". They are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Cookies do not damage your computer and do not contain viruses. Other cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them or the storage period expires. These cookies enable us to recognize your browser on your next visit.
Insofar as personal data is also processed by individual cookies implemented by us, processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f DSGVO to safeguard our legitimate interests in the best possible functionality of the website and a customer-friendly and effective design of the site visit. You can set your browser to inform you when cookies are set and to allow cookies only in individual cases, to exclude the acceptance of cookies for specific cases or in general, and to activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If you deactivate cookies, the functionality of this website may be limited.
SSL encryption
This site uses SSL encryption for security reasons and to protect transmission of confidential content, such as queries that you send to us in our capacity as the site operator. You can tell when the connection is encrypted because the browser address bar changes from "http://" to "https://" and the padlock symbol is displayed in your browser bar. When SSL encryption is enabled, the data that you send to us cannot be read by third parties.
Statistical evaluation
Google Analytics
This website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics. The provider is GoogleInc.,1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. The data processing is based on your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO or § 15 para. 3 p. 1 TMG, if you have given your consent via our banners. Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies". These are text files which are stored on your computer and which enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. If the data is processed outside the EU or EEA in this context, please note that there is a risk that authorities may access the data for security and monitoring purposes without you being informed or having the right to appeal. If we use providers in insecure third countries and you give your consent, the transfer to a third country is based on Art. 49 para. 1 lit.a DSGVO.
IP anonymisation
We have activated the IP anonymisation function on this website. This means that your IP address will be shortened by Google within the Member States of the European Union or in other States party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area, prior to transmission to the USA. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address sent to a Google server in the USA and abbreviated there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to analyse your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide other services for the website operator related to the use of the website and the Internet. The IP address sent by your browser to Google Analytics is not merged with other data held by Google.

Commissioned data processing
We have concluded a contract on commissioned data processing with Google and implemented in full the strict provisions of the German data protection authorities in our use of Google Analytics.
Google Ads
Google Ads is an online advertising service provided by Google Ireland Ltd, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"). The controller is Google.
We use Google Ads to show you online adverts that match your interests. Google uses DoubleClick cookies to measure the success of our advertising campaigns by recording parameters such as the display of adverts or clicks by users. For example, we receive statistical analyses from Google about which ads were clicked on how often and at what prices. However, we do not receive any information about the use of advertising media that would allow us to draw conclusions about individual users.
Based on the statistics generated by Google Analytics, we can form target groups (e.g. for end devices via which a specific product page was accessed) and transmit these to Google via Google Ads. These target groups consist of a list of advertising IDs filtered according to certain criteria within Google Analytics (which is also stored in the "DoubleClick cookie", for example). Google uses the target groups so that you are primarily addressed in online marketing for those products in which you are interested (e.g. because you have already informed yourself about this on our website). You can find more information on how Google processes your data for adverts in Google's privacy policy and in the Google Ads help section.
The legal basis for data processing is your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 subpara. 1 lit. a GDPR or § 25 para. 1 TTDSG.

The cookies used by Hotjar have a different "lifespan"; some remain on the devices for up to 365 days, some only remain valid during the current visit to the website: https://www.hotjar.com/legal/policies/cookie-information.
